The concept of Windows Search 4.0 is good. I didn’t realise that it would turn out to be just another big lump of software that would sit around on my system, constantly using up my resources.
This thing is like having a guest in your house who knows where everything is - but only because he’s always mooching around, checking out your drawers, poking in your wardrobe, opening the oven when you’ve got a cake in it, and sticking his hand in while you’re showering to check the water temperature. Sure, he can tell you where that nutcracker you used on halloween five years ago is stored; but is it worth the hassle? I don’t think so.
